Every Wednesday, we invite you to pause and pray with us. Today’s Pause & Pray is written and curated by Yireh Ha.
Pray
Gracious God,
As we look at this painting, we see lines moving in many directions. At first, they may seem chaotic, but together they create rhythm, movement, and beauty.
Our lives can feel the same way. We do not always understand where we are going or how the different parts of our lives fit together. Yet we trust that you are present in every moment.
Holy Spirit, move among us and within us. In our confusion, give us peace. In our differences, create harmony. And when we cannot see the whole picture, help us trust that you are still at work. May our lives become part of the beautiful work you are creating in this world.
In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
Meditate
The earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters
