5 October 2022 – Pause & Pray

Every Wednesday we invite you to Pause and Pray with us. Today’s Pause & Pray is written/curated by Jun Gyu Park

PRAY:

Merciful God, thank You for Your promise to bind up my brokenness and heal my hurt.
May we walk humbly before You, trusting Your many precious promises. We know that You are willing and able to carry me through any and every situation that life may throw at me. Thank You so much for Your loving-kindness toward me. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.

MEDITATE:

Psalm 147
1 Praise the LORD!
How good it is to sing praises to our God,
for God is gracious, and a song of praise is fitting.
2 The LORD builds up Jerusalem;
God gathers the outcasts of Israel.
3 God heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.
4 God determines the number of the stars;
God gives to all of them their names.
5 Great is our Lord and abundant in power;
God’s understanding is beyond measure.
6 The LORD lifts up the downtrodden;
God casts the wicked to the ground.

LISTEN:

“There is a Balm in Gilead” Arr. Stacey V. Gibbs
