Every Wednesday we invite you to Pause & Pray with us. Today’s Pause & Pray is written and curated by Zuline Gray Wilkinson, DMin candidate.

“None Like God”
Loving God we come before you. You are the Lord of Creation, the Rose of Sharon, the Bright morning star. You are the light that banishes darkness. You are our Savior, Comforter, and King. You are the beginning of time, and you will mark its end. Heaven belongs to you and earth is at your feet. You are powerful, almighty, ever-present, all knowing. There is no one like you. Lord, you are the great I AM!
We approach your throne in awe, overwhelmed by your majesty. Your glory overshadows us, and nothing that we can imagine measures to you. Our hearts are full of thanksgiving. We give you the highest praise for there is none like you who is worthy of our adoration.
We kneel in your presence and cry Hallelujah! Bless your name! We exalt you, Oh God. We lift you up assured that you will fulfill your promise in us and through us. Order our steps, Lord. Let us be worthy of the callings you have placed on our lives.
Lord, your name is above all names. We give ourselves to you. Bless us as we yield our desires and plans to you.

The heavens are telling the glory of God;
and the firmament proclaims his handiwork.
2 Day to day pours forth speech,
and night to night declares knowledge.
The law of the Lord is perfect,
reviving the soul;
the decrees of the Lord are sure,
making wise the simple;
8 the precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is clear,
enlightening the eyes;
9 the fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring forever;
the ordinances of the Lord are true
and righteous altogether.
Psalm 19:1-2; 7-9
