Pray

God of the curious and the resilient, who welcomes all into the fold, draw us near to you this evening. May we feel your comforting presence surrounding us in the quiet of night. May we hear your voice in the whisper of the wind through the trees, in the chirping of insects, and in the murmurs of voices floating out of distant windows. Remind us that we are surrounded by love. Help us to bear that love into the world. In the name of the one who calls us their own we pray, Amen.
