Gathering

Jeremiah 23:1-6

Amy: Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! says the LORD.

Christopher: Therefore thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning the shepherds who shepherd my people: It is you who have scattered my flock, and have driven them away, and you have not attended to them. So I will attend to you for your evil doings, says the Lord.

Caelyn: Then I myself will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the lands where I have driven them, and I will bring them back to their fold, and they shall be fruitful and multiply. I will raise up shepherds over them who will shepherd them, and they shall not fear any longer, or be dismayed, nor shall any be missing, says the LORD.

Rodney: The days are surely coming, says the LORD, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. And this is the name by which he will be called: “The LORD is our righteousness.”

We welcome leaders like John Kelly to our campus who carry innocent blood on their souls

Scripture

Luke 1:68-79

Jessica:
“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for God has looked favorably on the people and redeemed them. God, you have raised up a mighty savior for us in the house of your servant David, as you spoke through the mouth of your holy prophets from of old, that we would be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us.

Archie:
Thus you have shown the mercy promised to our ancestors, and have remembered your holy covenant, the oath that you swore to our ancestor Abraham, to grant us that we, being rescued from the hands of our enemies, might serve you without fear, in holiness and righteousness before you all our days.

Jessica:
And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare God’s ways, to give knowledge of salvation to God’s people by the forgiveness of their sins.

Archie:
By the tender mercy of our God, the dawn from on high will break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
