Every Wednesday, we invite you to pause and pray with us. Today’s Pause & Pray is written and curated by Jess Barrett.

Pray
Lord of the shore,
You see every stone, every grain of sand, every hidden piece beneath the tide.
When I feel small, overlooked, or insignificant,
remind me that You have counted me,
that I am seen, named, and held.
Anchor me like the rocks,
soften me like the sand,
and let me rest in the rhythm of Your waves.
Amen.
Meditate
- “How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand!” — Psalm 139:17–18 (NLT)
Questions to Ponder:
- Where do I feel overlooked or unseen in this season?
- Which “stones” in my life (burdens, memories, responsibilities) is God inviting me to see as sacred?
- How might God be building something steady and beautiful from the small and ordinary?
