Every Wednesday we invite you to Pause & Pray with us. Today’s reflection is written/curated by Kirsten Trambley, Assistant Director of Theological Admissions.
Meditate
“You are dust, and to dust you shall return.” Genesis 3:19c NRSV
“We cannot afford to do theology unrelated to human existence.” James Cone, God of the Oppressed
“I feel, therefore, I can be free.” Audre Lorde, Sister Outsider
Pray
O God, the breaker of binaries and the queering disrupter.
Help us to remember the spectrums within and beyond life and death, glitter and ashes, shining brightly and sitting in cloudedness.
Let us remember that our work is to relate to human existence and to feel, feel, and feel more.
Guide us toward hope amidst the chaos as we enter this Lenten season of reflection and action.
Amen.
