Welcome

Call to Worship

Welcome, brothers and sisters, to this sacred space where we gather as one community, rich in our diversity and united in our purpose.

We come from many lands, each with our own stories, cultures, and dreams, yet together we form a beautiful picture.

In this time of worship, let our hearts be open, our minds attentive, and our spirits ready to receive God’s word.

May we be filled with hope, joy, and a commitment to serve our communities with love and compassion.
Together, let us lift our voices in praise, acknowledging the power of our collective prayer and worship.

We come with gratitude and expectation, ready to encounter the Divine and be transformed!

36 Yesu akawaamuru wasimwambie mtu ye yote habari hizi. Lakini kadiri alivyowazuia ndivyo walivyozidi kutangaza habari zake. 37 Watu wakastaajabu mno. Wakasema, “Amefanya mambo yote vizuri mno! Amewawezesha viziwi wasikie na bubu waseme!”

English

31 Then he returned from the region of Tyre, and went by way of Sidon towards the Sea of Galilee, in the region of the Decapolis. 32 They brought to him a deaf man who had an impediment in his speech; and they begged him to lay his hand on him. 33 He took him aside in private, away from the crowd, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spat and touched his tongue. 34 Then looking up to heaven, he sighed and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.” 35 And immediately his ears were opened, his tongue was released, and he spoke plainly. 36 Then Jesus ordered them to tell no one; but the more he ordered them, the more zealously they proclaimed it. 37 They were astounded beyond measure, saying, “He has done everything well; he even makes the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.”

Leader: The Word of God for the people of God.
All: Thanks be to God.

How Great Thou Art

Oh Lord, my God
When I, in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed

Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art

And when I think that God, His Son not sparing
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing
He bled and died to take away my sin

Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art

When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration
And then proclaim, my God, how great Thou art

Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
